Yearly activities of our lab
This is a brief overview of how a graduate student spends one year.
Late February: Laboratory application/decision (undergraduate students)
Early April: First semester classes begin, Induction/training
Late August: Entrance examination for graduate school
September: Summer holiday
October: Start of second-semester classes and graduation research
Mid-December: Mid-term graduation research presentation
End of the year: Winter holiday
Late January: Submission of abstracts for graduation research
February: Graduation research presentation
Late March: Graduation ceremony
Undergraduate students have a weekly English seminar to develop their knowledge of electromagnetism and their ability to translate from English.
Postgraduate students (Master’s) have a weekly progress presentation on their research, where they discuss the direction and content of their research with lab members. They also develop their presentation skills and the ability to express their opinions actively.
The research allows us to engage in topics that have not been done before. The students will also have many opportunities to work on projects, which will give you the ability to think and implement solutions to problems and issues on your own.
We encourage our students to present their research results at academic conferences. Many of our graduates have presented their research results at domestic and international conferences and won awards.

In addition to research, we also have recreational activities such as cherry blossom viewing, takoyaki party, drinking party and year-end party.
